There are 3 beautiful 18-hole golf courses on the island and a 9-hole course. The Jekyll Clubhouse features a full-service golf shop, restaurant & lounge. A nearby driving range, putting greens, practice bunker and instruction available from PGA teaching professionals make it a worthwhile experience.

Beaches Jekyll has beautiful beaches that spread as far as the eye can see. There are 10 miles of beaches along the shore of Jekyll Island. Be sure to visit Driftwood Beach on the north end of the island, so named because of the remnants of live oak trees that have washed out on the beach over time.

Fishing Sport fishing is a popular activity drawing experienced anglers from all over the country. You'll find trout, flounder, redfish, bass, tarpon, kingfish, snapper, barracuda, grouper, Spanish mackerel and amber jack - just to name a few. Cast your net into the marsh or at the beach to catch wild GA shrimp - great bait and good eating, too!

Tennis The Jekyll Island Tennis Center has 13 courts waiting for you! With these Hard True “fast dry” courts, even a brief thunderstorm won’t hold you up for very long. 7 lighted courts are available even for night play. Break a string? Got that covered as well with a full service pro shop open daily.

Georgia Sea Turtle Center Jekyll is home to Georgia’s first center for the care of sick and injured sea turtles. Injured sea turtles from all over the U.S. are brought to the GA Sea Turtle Center to be cared for and eventually released back into the ocean. At the Center you can watch live procedures on sick turtles and learn how you can help save sea turtles and other marine animals through interactive exhibits.
